 From 1986 – former USFL standout linebacker Vaughan Johnson joined the New Orleans Saints along with 10 other former USFL players. He would remain with the Saints until 1993 forming one of the the most dominating linebacking corps in NFL History. The Dome Patrol, as this corps was affectionately known, would help bring the New Orleans Saints 4 playoff appearances over the next 6 seasons.
I've been following the Saints since a kid in the 70s watching the likes of Archie Manning and Tommy Myers.
We may not have as grandiose a history as some NFL teams, but there are scores of memories the New Orleans Saints have given to their fans and I have done my best to record them here at New Orleans Saints History.
