One of my claims to fame is that I played baseball against Joe in the Valley Sports Senior League in mid 60s. As I recall, his dad coached and brother, Nick, also played. I played on the Red Sox along side another pretty good athlete named Larry Carter and coached by Larry’s dad, Joe. By the way, we were league champs!
