I've been following the Saints since a kid in the 70s watching the likes of Archie Manning and Tommy Myers.
We may not have as grandiose a history as some NFL teams, but there are scores of memories the New Orleans Saints have given to their fans and I have done my best to record them here at New Orleans Saints History.

2019 Panini Prizm Football Card featuring Archie Manning
Always found it odd that both Russell Erxleben & Richard Todd were both wearing #14.
Ted – I don’t remember exactly but I don’t think Erxleben was even on the team in 1984. How he even got a card is questionable.
Phil – You are correct. Erxleben was out of the league in 1984. Never understood why Topps did not make a Kenny Stabler card that year but yet an Erxleben one.
Yeah how Topps decided who got cards and who didn’t has always been a mystery to me. It obviously has something to do with the previous year but how a player that wasn’t on the team has a card ……. I don’t know.
